Irish bookkeeping, payroll and tax · Form 11 · VAT3 · PAYE · RCT
Books, payroll and tax for Ireland — checked as you go, once the checks are switched on for your record.
ManageTax keeps the books, runs the payroll, prepares the returns as working papers, and — where its checks are switched on for your record — checks its own work against the law and the evidence behind each figure, saying when it is not sure rather than guessing. For people who file for themselves, and for the practices who file for them.
Built for Revenue’s forms
Irish first, not localised.
The Form 11 as a working paper, line by line, with the ROS file read back in. The VAT3 worked out from the ledger as a working paper. RCT for principals and subcontractors. Payroll with PAYE, USC, PRSI, benefit in kind, statutory sick pay and auto-enrolment, and the payroll submission prepared for you to file in ROS. Deadlines from the engines that compute the returns. You check each return and file it on ROS yourself.

For practices
Every client’s books, one console.
A client grants the firm access and can withdraw it at any time. The console shows who is waiting on an answer, every statutory date as a job with a stage and a review note, what the firm is waiting on the client for, and the payroll for each client with its submission prepared for Revenue.
Open the practice consoleClient access by grant
Granted by the client, seen on both sides, revocable.
Jobs and deadlines
Form 11, VAT3, B1 and CGT dates, generated per client.
Review stages
Open, in progress, for review, approved, filed — with named notes.
Payroll for clients
Run, review, payslips, and the submission prepared for Revenue.
Three modules, one record
- BookkeepingWhat happened — invoices, bills, the bank, the ledger and the VAT on them, the tax withheld, management accounts and the fixed-asset register.
- PayrollWho you pay and what Revenue is told — employees, payslips, PAYE, USC and PRSI, and the payroll submission, prepared here for you to file on ROS.
- TaxationWhat it comes to, and what goes to Revenue — the VAT 3 and RCT worked out from your books, the Form 11, capital gains, year-end accounts for sole traders and partnerships, and a filed year rechecked, with settlements and investigations.
Verify, do not guess
Every figure can say where it came from.
The law is on file, with checksums
Rates, sections and Revenue guidance are archived as sources with their SHA-256 and a review date. Where the verifier is switched on for your record, a rule the product cannot back with a source answers “uncertain” rather than guessing.
Findings, with the evidence beside them
Each check reports pass, fail or uncertain, its severity, how sure it is, the reasons, the evidence it read and the fix it proposes. Uncertain is shown as uncertain.
Decisions you can replay
Every decision is recorded with the rule version that made it and can be replayed later. Today the verifier reports; it does not block or file anything on its own.
Measured against the market
What it does that most Irish software does not
- A disclosure worked as a case
- Years, heads of tax, interest and penalties computed from the archived rate tables, with the working paper behind every figure.
- RCT on both sides
- Withheld from you and withheld by you, reconciled against the deduction summaries.
- Source to return, reconciled
- Every figure on a return traces to the transaction and the document behind it, and a difference is shown rather than absorbed.
- Independent recomputation
- A second implementation checks the first, and a figure no check covers is labelled rather than presented as verified.
- Bank statements proved to the cent
- A statement, PDF included, is checked against the balances the bank printed on it, and a file that does not add up is refused rather than half-read.
- Evidence with custody
- A document you upload carries the SHA-256 of its bytes, and each opening of the original is logged.
