Questions

Does ManageTax file my VAT3?

It works out your VAT3 from your books as a working paper, with the figures that make up each box. A file for ROS is produced only when every figure in the period is exact; otherwise the page says why and you enter the figures yourself. You check it and file it on ROS yourself; ManageTax does not file it for you.

What about the Form 11?

The Taxation module computes the Form 11 from your records and gives you the working paper. Where the year and figures allow it also produces a file to upload in ROS (Return Preparation Facility); otherwise you enter the working paper's figures in ROS yourself. The figures are estimates for you to check before you file.

Does payroll deal with Revenue?

The Payroll module computes each pay run on the Revenue payroll notification you hold, produces the payslips, and prepares the payroll submission. Sending it from inside ManageTax uses your own ROS digital certificate, and that channel is switched on for each employer when it is set up with us; until it is on for you, you file the submission in ROS yourself.

Do I need a ROS digital certificate?

Only to send payroll submissions from inside ManageTax, once that is switched on for you; until then you file in ROS with your own login. Everything else works without one.

What happens when I cancel?

Your subscription stops at the end of the period you have paid for. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period, and you can export your records for at least 30 days afterwards. You can also cancel within 14 days of subscribing; you then pay only for the days used.

I am an accountant. How does the practice plan work?

One practice plan covers every client you work on, within the client and seat limits the plan states. A client who already has an account gives your practice access themselves and can take it back; for someone who has not signed up, you can open a file that becomes theirs when they do.

Where is my data kept?

The privacy notice lists every service that processes your data and where it does so. Your own sign-in is handled by ManageTax itself; Firebase Authentication is used only for our administrators.

Is VAT included in these prices?

MANAGETAX LIMITED is not registered for VAT in Ireland, so no VAT is charged on these prices.

Can I get a refund?

Within the 14-day cancellation period you are refunded everything except the days you used. If the software does not work as described and we cannot put it right, you are entitled to a price reduction or a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
